1. Blå Bog. Edwin was the 2nd of 3 sons born to Danish immigrants, Jens and Kristine Nyby. He attended school in Dagmar and Antelope, and after high school joined the Marine Corps where he served in the Pacific Theater during WWII from 1942-45. Upon returning home he married Thelma Dahl on 2-7-1947 in Plentywood. They lived in Hamilton and Dagmar areas before moving to Plentywood in 1953. Edwin worked construction and related areas until his death.
Edwin and Thelma had 6 children, Carolyn, Mary, Edwin, Laura, Neil and Jane.
